Cutting Freezer Paper for Ink Jet Printers

I like to do paper piecing using patterns I design in EQ6 and I also use "freezer paper on top" method for needle turn applique.  I used to trace the designs onto freezer paper or staple multiple layers together and "needle punch" the lines with an unthreaded needle on my sewing machine....until I discovered that I can cut to fit several sheets of freezer paper at one time.  Here's how I do it.

Disclaimer:  This is what works for me.  I will not assume responsibility for any mistakes, injuries, malfunctions you may encounter by using these instructions.  Do not use freezer paper in a laser printer unless you want to ruin your printer.

I work on the top of my chest freezer.  I have a large rotary cutting mat taped to the freezer top.  It's the perfect height for me.
